What to choose?
I'm signed up on JPGMag.com, and they have contests for all members each quarter. They have three different categories and you submit a photo from your bunch, have other members of JPGMag vote on the photos, and the ones who get the most votes will get printed in JPG Magazine.
This quarter, one of the contests is "On Stage". I have TONS of on stage photos (band photography is my favorite right after scenic photography), but I have no clue which to choose from... too many. and I don't know whether what I think is good is what others will think is good, too? It's so hard to say. Art is personal. you like what you like, regardless of what others think. y'know?
The one I have submitted right now, that has earned 4 votes (one of which is ME), is this:
So... if anyone has some free time to browse my photos, I would really appreciate it. I'm trying to narrow down my choices here:

I would choose Violetta Barretta. I think the band photos are not up-close and polished enough. I'm not a photographer, but they don't work for me. Maybe if you went to their sessions and took pictures, it would be better than performance pictures. With the performance though, you are capturing something special that isn't in the sessions, a kinetic energy.
